3. Decision Criteria

4. Decision Process

In addition to the decision criteria, you must also understand your prospect’s decision process— the internal steps followed to actually finalize a decision. Your champion does not necessarily have to be in a managerial or other supervisory position, but they do need to be well-respected. But having an employee with influence and respect in your corner can make a world of difference in helping you close that sale.
